fabric tutorial. happy sunday!

too bad they don't smell as good as they look. there are lots of pictures, so its a long one!
you will need: scissors, fabric of your choice, buttons, a glue gun and a needle and thread.
cut four, big and small circles. The size of your big circle will be the final size of your flower.
1: face good side down 2: fold in half 3: then in half again 4: repeat to all flowers.
Now thread it at the tip so it stays in place and you can hide the seams later.
Now come out the side and attach it to the next petal. (the one on the left is the first petal, on the right is the one I attached it to) repeat this process all the way around. Make sure its snug and there is no excess thread in between petals.
Now go around once more connecting only between the sides.
Do the same thing to the small circles.
now pinch the back and sew a few stitches through the pinch. Also do this to the big one.
It should look like this when you are finished pinching it.
Now stitch both small and big on top of each other. I prefer to not put the cracks on top of each other for visual interest.
Now add your button of choice right in the center. Add a big enough one to hide your seams.
Now cut one more circle the size of your flower and glue it to the back to hide the seams.
There you go! a beautiful and fairly simple flower, created by yours truly.
